I’m planning on purchasing a cheap laptop off of Tiger Direct but I’m not sure which brand would be best. I do web and graphic design so I need a lot of space and memory for my programs such as photoshop. But I also play games such as The Sims and WoW. Whay do you suggest would be a good laptop to fit my needs?
I have about 0-0 to spend.

As you do not require that much high specs laptop I would suggest you should go for refurbished laptop.
Refurbished laptop can fulfill your requirements easily you just have to get the right refurbished laptop from right place.
Many people have this image about refurbished laptop that they are not good but actually they are much better and cheap and they are rectified from the fault which has been performed by the company and works great.
Check out the below laptops hope any of the two fits your pocket and fits your need
HP NC6000
Intel Pentium Mobile Centrino – 1.6 GHz Processor, 512 MB Ram (Exp. to 2 GB), 40 GB Harddrive, DVD-ROM Drive (Upgradable to COMBO Drive), Windows XP Professional, WiFi, 14.1" TFT Display – $229
HP NC6220
Intel Pentium Mobile – 1.73 GHz, 1 GB Ram, 40 GB Harddrive, DVD-ROM Drive, Windows XP Professional, WiFi, 14.1" TFT Display – $279
http://www.dell.com check the Inspiron
Toshiba’s are cheap and I hear fairly nice things about them. I would recommend HP but I am not sure if you could find what you need for that price when looking into HP’s. My advice, SHOP AROUND. Look on alot of websites and check out reviews of laptop brands. Don’t want to waste your money.
goodluck!
