i have this laptop but something went wrong with the hard drive and doesn’t boot it says: “no bootable device–insert boot disk and press any key ” i think that also doesn’t recognize the hard disk plz help .
u need to either run an OS from a usb u can find out on utube or u can get a new HDD and reinstall the os u had.

i have a big pronblem, i have that same laptop and the cover is all scratched, and everytime i see it it makes me feel i didnt took care of it, is there anyway i can just buyt the outside part??
well actioly i have dv7-1275dx wich has dual core proscesor, nvidia GeForece 9600, and well it costed me 1000 US and its bad azz but i need to fix the scratch thingy plz help
dont believe that you dont get 8-9 hours i barley get 1 hour and i have it on the lowest setting but the laptop is overall the best i love it

Also you can install the Windows 7? Is that I’ve seen in other videos on that laptop when you open the product box (the laptop) discs that come in them is a disc of Windows 7 but not if they serve to install Windows 7. But I have the laptop, so after I buy it! ;D
