…..for fear of the Microsoft police. Everything else is described, like CPU, memory, hard drive, DVD, etc…., but the only way to know the OS is to check the COA label. I work in this store and find it very tiresome to repeatedly go over which computers have which version of Windows, and I can tell that some customers just leave because they can’t navigate all the other variables without knowing whether something has no OS, 2000, or XP. Which should he be more afraid of, the M$ police, or losing customers due to keeping the OS relatively hidden?
Anyone know a certain brand of laptop Ican get for cheap? I’ve seen two places w/ them at 9, is this the cheapest I’m going to get one? I don’t feel safe buying one off of ebay and want it brand new. Are there any for under 9 that you know of; even if they’re like for this week only or something? Thanks!
